WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO BECOME AN ESCORT?
Honestly, I think it’s an industry that at one point, every girl has thought about joining at one point in their lives. But, I always thought ‘Do I actually have the confidence to do it?’ - And that honestly held me back for a while, because I simply just didn’t think I did. I was working part-time in retail and one day, decided to post an Ad for private bookings, just to ease my way into it and honestly, to see how I would go. My Ad literally took off immediately, to the point, I actually had to ask my friend to help me manage the requests coming through. However, as anyone that has worked privately before knows, the requests, although astronomical, are incredibly unreliable and not a stable income. No shows, cancellations at the last minute, etc. It just became too overwhelming for me to handle so I ultimately decided to Google ‘Local Brothels’.
Trying to find a Brothel that had more than a 3 star rating on Google was a lot easier said than done, but I managed to find one that looked clean and reputable, so I took the leap of faith and hit ‘Apply’ and the rest is simply history.
I also honestly wanted financial gain. I wanted to be able to earn thousands a week and not have the financial stress of money again.
But more importantly, I knew I could connect with people. I have an incredibly warm and easy-going personality that I knew I could rely on clients.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE SERVICE AND WHY?
Definitely Full Service! Full Service can actually be a lot of fun, with the right person. Somebody that I can generally connect with, share a laugh with and share space with where it doesn’t feel like a paid interaction. Somebody that also respects me and my body.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF YOUR JOB AND WHY?
Honestly, meeting new people and generally forming a connection with them. Some of my regular clients, I’ve known for years and I’m generally invested in their lives as human beings, and feel excitement when I see them. In this field, I’m not only an escort, but a companion, a distraction from the outside world, a friend, a shoulder to cry on and an ear to vent too. I enjoy being able to be that trusted person for my clients. I share experiences from my life too. I generally feel connected to my clients, and that’s truly my favourite part of the job.
WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVOURITE PART OF THE JOB AND WHY?
Easy - The scumbags! The clients that treat you like a piece of meat, that think they’re better than you or even worse, try to bargain with you. My prices are reasonable. It is incredibly offensive when I have clients that try to bargain with me for a cheaper rate. Would you go into your local food grocery and bargain on a packet of chips? Absolutely not, so why do they think it’s okay to do that to me about my services? My prices are set, and there is simply no bargaining.
Another part of the job that I dislike is when clients do not treat you with basic respect. They think you are there to serve them, which we are not. We are human beings that choose to do this line of work and should be treated with respect at all times.
WHAT IS THE BIGGEST MISCONCEPTION THAT YOU HAVE FOUND PEOPLE HAVE REGARDING THE SEX INDUSTRY?
This is a really good question - There are a lot of misconceptions around the sex industry as a whole. The biggest one I found was people truly believe that brothels are dirty, seedy and riddled with diseases. From my experience, they’re actually the complete opposite. They’re incredibly clean. Towels and linen are always cleaned, folded and ready to go. Bathrooms/toilets are cleaned on the regular and the girls themselves, shower numerous times a day. Another misconception is that the clients are just dirty, old men. The majority of my clients are actually anywhere between 25-45 and the majority of them are actually hard-working professionals. Lawyers, Doctors, Business-Owners, etc.
I also found that people believe being in this industry means you have no control over who you see. That there’s some wicked witch behind the scenes forcing the girls to do anything these men request. This couldn’t be further from the truth. As an escort, I am 100% entitled to refuse ANY booking. I am 100% in control. No one forces you to do anything you don’t want to do. And if they ever try, there’s a huge red flag right there, and you should look elsewhere immediately.
